Regardless of transaction size or type, Mikie takes a client-focused approach to her work, making herself readily available and putting your goals first. As someone who has lived in several places, Mikie easily connects with people from all walks of life. She considers this area home, however, and truly enjoys introducing others to all that it has to offer. For Mikie, nothing is more rewarding than helping others turn real estate dreams to reality. 

Prior to joining EQUITY UNION Real Estate in Palm Desert, CA, Mikie worked as a realtor in Colorado Springs, CO where she ranked among the state’s top 50 realtors.  Throughout her career, Mikie has consistently earned sales and Major Ass Kicker (MAK) of the Month awards. She’s doubled her business every year since entering real estate and holds special designation as a Price Strategy Advisor (PSA). 

Throughout her life, Mikie has lived in San Diego, Toronto, Vancouver, BC and Virginia.  She moved back to Palm Desert in 2021 to be closer to family, including her two college-age children—her “whys” for choosing this profession!  Mikie’s professional background also includes work as an elementary school teacher and in retail sales—both of which inform her approach to creating exceptional experiences. 

When she’s not helping clients, Mikie enjoys golfing, hiking, listening to live music, cooking, reading, shopping and traveling to ocean destinations. She relishes quality time with family and roots hard for Oregon Ducks football!
